Default bastard pack question

i allready have some stock leafs off a mitsubishi pickup since i allready have them and there just taking up space i wanted to try them on the xj. problem is there 2 3/4" wide so it would hang over the xj leafs 1/8" on each side. would that be ok?

i'd say no. i would think the holes in the spring plate would restrict the u-bolts from fitting properly.

even if you did get them to bolt up, it wouldn't be 100% safe.

Good chance your other leaves would shift around.

Gonna have to agree. Free is nice, not always useful though. I used S-10, couldn't be happier.

glad to see we are all in agreeance! i deff wouldnt run the mutsu leafs. s-10's and blazers match perfectly. you know the ride quality will suffer drastically, right?

FYI Dakota leafs work also and are much flexier / softer riding in a bastard pack

I think bastard packs ride OK, the shackle angle leaves something to be desired
