I vote Banks. They've been around awhile and actually research and tweak thier products......Now if Hooker made headers for a XJ, I'd be down for that, just to say "Yep, gotsa Hooker on my Jeep!"

100% Agreed, Banks is number one for diesel performance, and slowly creeping up in gas applications.

Banks is very good equipment.

another thumbs up for banks here. lately their reputation has been going down in the diesel community and i'm not sure why. my dealings with the customer service a few months ago was great.

I'm definitely been leaning towards Banks. Do you bypass your small catalytic converters when you put it on?

the banks one bolts right in, for the 00-01 you gotta get the shorty header the have, and it bolts right up to the pre cats, thats my next upgrade cause my exhaust manifold has a small crack in it and i can hear it

I found a Banks Powerpack on EBay Motors. It has Banks Ram Air intake, Banks header and Banks Monster cat back exhaust. Personally it would make the XJ a badass.

the only thing banks makes for the cherokees is the header, unless you want to try to make the wrangler stuff work for an XJ

that's what I thought. I'm going to do more research on it and see how it will bolt up.
