ok so im trying to figure out how to balance my beadlocks with 32" tires, i have heard of using BBs, Airsoft BBs, special ceramic stuff, and even golf *****. now it will get driven on road from time to time, mostly when going muddin or very rarely driving to college and back which is 60 mile round trip. any suggestions or tips?

your gonna need alot of weight. lol i'd think BB's. but no matter what you use, as long as its a free moving counterweight inside the wheel it wont really balance it past around 70-75mph. thats my experience anyways.

i used dynabeads in my federals, they're not beadlocks but its the same concept. If i had to do it again i would use daisy BB's or airsoft BB's. The dynabeads are exactly like a slightly smaller version of airsoft bbs. For the beadlocks, i would just use the daisy BB's. start at maybe 8oz and add more if they dont balance correctly.

now wouldnt the regular metal bbs just start to tear the tire away on the inside

They will rust and clump together in the tire. Airsoft works fine but won't truely balance them. One of the reasons most beadlocks aren't DOT approved.

would it be a good idea to put antifreeze in there with the bbs im thinking im goin airsoft

Just use airsoft and no worries.

the bbs wont wear the inside of the tire, and as long as the rig gets drove like at least 2-3 times a week the BB's wont rust. Didnt think about it not being a DD tho, Guess the BB's could set for a while in the tire. Like he said, Airsoft BB's are the way to go. just make sure you get the solid colored ones and not the clear ones. The clear ones will crack.

Well I dont know how much of a "soft ride" your jeep has but I know my POS Ford that ive been using to get back and forth to school (25 mile round trip) has a very firm ride and when I put some older used 31" BFG's on there with just enough tread to get me by I didn't balance them. Any ways what I'm saying is I've driven the truck up to and past 70 MPH on the road and since the ride sucks so bad I can't realy tell the tires aren't balanced. So since your jeep is more of an offroad play truck, try seeing how they feel un balanced.

if you're running anything larger than a 33 inch tire, try using golf ***** instead of bb's.

i have used copper bb's in the past with a bit of antifreeze with great results. after 5 years with the same bb's in the same tires first on my weekend wheeler, then on the yaks daily driver, they are still working as the day i put them in.
those are in 33 inch trxus on steel rims.
i don't think i would use bb's on an aluminum rim tho. i guess the plastic ones would work.

but on my xj, i have 36 bias ply on beadlocks with absolutely no weight medium of any sort. just tire and rim. no balance shimmy up to 120kph. but have been teased with death wobble a couple of times due to the heavier outside weight of the rim. a heavier steering stabilizer took care of that tho.
now i'm running 35 inch all terrain tires on alloy rims, (temporarily loaned out my rims/tires), and i removed my heavy duty coil over stabilizer and have no death wobble.ur

with your 32 inch tires, i would use about 13oz of bb's and 2oz antifreeze in each tire.

my buddy runs military 37s and beadlocks with a pound (1lbs) of airsoft BBs in each tire

Not sure exatly where to get them but when I used to work at a tire shop, we put these packs of beads inside semi tires. Might want to check those out since that is what they are made for.
