Default Backspacing Advice

Hey everyone,

This is my first post and i have a question about backspacing. What backspacing would you reccomend if running 33" tires on a 4.5 inch lift with bushwackers? Just enough so the wheel sticks out flush with the fender flares.

I am using 15x8 with 4 inches of backspace with my 33x12.50s. I am running cut factory flares not bushwackers and my tires stick out about 1 1/2 inches. Same where I come from dwighet

OP, I'm running 15x8 wheel with 3.75 backspacing. My flares are about 3 inches wide and my tires extend about half inch past that. I don't have bushwhackers but I'm guessing something near 4 or less backspacing will get what you want. Might be able to find out from bushwhacker how far their flares extend.

Im running 32/1150/15 on a 15x8 with 3.5 back spacing and running the bushwacker pocket flares and my wheels still are not flush with the flares? Im personally not a fan of the bushwacker pocket flares with a tire any smaller than a 35. But i didnt put them on my jeep they were there when i bought it and right im trying to figure out what to run if i ditch them.

It depends on a lot more than just BS. 4" BS on a 7" wheel is quite different from 4" BS on a 10" wheel. Inner clearance is the same but outer...
