Default Backspacing????

O.k, I'm on the market for new wheels.. probably going for cragar soft 8's, seeing that alot of people have good luck with them. now I'm gunna be plain and simple. I want my meats to stick out at much as possible. what backspacing will acheive this. smaller numbers or bigger. thanks for helpin with my newb question.

3.5 is pretty far out (smaller number means they will stick out more).
I believe 5.25 is stock backspacing.

Get 4" bs on a 10" wide rim and use 1.5" spacers. It will be supa dupa wide

I think the cragars only go down to 4"
So 15x8 and 4" is my vote. The 10" wide just seem to flatten out the tire so it looks like a square from head on

Ok. I have 9.5" tires, theyd work fine on that?

Ok guys, thanks for the help. I think I will be getting 4" backspacing, and then 2" wheel spacers. this will bring my tires out 3.25 inches each side!! thats an extra 6.5" of width

If you go out that far you might start to rub on your fenders of trim

Please dont do that. To get a wider stance you need a wider tire. 33x12.5
A 9.5" wide tire is gonna look ridiculous sticking out that far

I'll be running procomp 15x8's with 2.5" backspacing with a 33x12.50. I'll let you know how it treats the hubs.

And before you all flame, i have a teraflex hi steer knuckle and need the clearance.
