backseat headrest question
this is my virgin breaking post so please be gentle
I am thinking about installing a headrest on the back branch seat. However, I don't want to install a zj head rest or any mis-matched headrest. I want the material on the headrest match exactly the material on the seat.
I don't think Chrysler use the same cloth/vinyl only on one model... any other model of cars/trucks will have a headrest perfectly match? It doesn't matter if it is full vinyl...

Well, I can't answer your question directly but I would think they used the same materials for other vehicles, but I don't know.
Anyway, according to this write-up on how to put ZJ headrests into an XJ (http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1030378), he says the materials were almost an identical match.
Maybe this will help you......
I've been thinking about doing this mod, but to me, it appears that after it's done you may lose the ability to fold the back seat down - unless you can completely remove the head rests, which would be awesome!

I am pretty sure the headrest can be completely removed... if it cannot, it could be modified. And I am sure we can use any headrest.. even it is not Chrysler.
I check some ZJ from local junkyard but they are not the same material. Their clothes are the fuffy hairy type...
