Default Awful creeking from leafs when weight transfers

I've ran into an issue lately and can't figure it out,so i'm here for help.

First the specs.

98 cherokee
Zone 4.5 lift
AAL with rustys 2 inch block in the rear
zone 4.5 coils w/1 inch spacer in the front
33's

Now,i have been on this lift a little over 3 months and wheeled it about 10 times and no noise at all.

When you come to a stop and the weight "transfers" i get a creeking popping noise from my leafs. When it "transfers" again when leaving the stop it does it again.Nothing while moving, only stop and going.

What could this possibly be?Could the blocks be causing this?

blocks could be an issue. I would never drive an xj with them. I would get under there and retorque everything then check back.

did you tighten the leaf spring bolts with the weight of the jeep on them?

x2, get under there and torque everything down. Those blocks are definitely not doing your leafs any good. Reason is they contribute to axle wrap, XJ's use significantly shorter and softer leaf springs than full size vehicles. Longer shackles can be found for under $100.

So you have a 2" block, shackles, and a AAL? There's no hope, your leaf packs are shot.
