Default aw4 rebuild

Not sure where to post but please point me in the right direction. Today i put in my rebuilt aw4 in my 87 jeep xj and only reverse works the way its supposed to all the drive gears are sluggish and have no power just looking for any advice been without my daily driver for about 2 weeks and cant go any longer any help is very appreciated thanks in advance

Yeah Id take it back or you have bigger problems going on than the tranny

Sounds like a bad rebuild probably. Who rebuilt the tranny and what was the need for it to be rebuilt? IE gear went out, pump went bad, etc.

I rebuilt the tranny there was lots of overheating and sometimes slippage on takeoff also all in all seemed to be sluggish do u guys kno if the solenoids are all the same well i kno one only goes in one place but mixed up the other 2 wasnt sure if they were different in any way
