Default auxiliary wiring

Hey all I have a question. Now keep in mind i have done the mod already and I know I should of asked first but here we go.

I have a 98 xj that I have added 6 off road lights. 4 light force 170 striker in the front and 2 hella in the rear also added 2 12v outlet in the rear. All of this is ran threw a bluse sea fuse block with a 100amp braker, each light has its own relay and own switch in the cab then ran to an optima yellow top battery I do plan on adding other things. Like a winch.

So my questions are these
1. Is it safe to keep them running on constant power?
2. Should I add a master switch, or batter cut off to the block?
3.and if so how?

Thanks sorry I didn't ask first

Yes each light has it's own relay then into the fuse block. The 2 12v cigarette lighter in the rear are piped directly to the fuse block

That is a perfect setup. You can add a master switch if you would like, just for control of the fuse block. But, it is not needed.

I run the master 4 circuit off a relay, triggered by ignition ON. Relays for light sets also. Prevents system from being always 'hot'. One circuit is constant hot used for CB.
The 'yellow top' has side terminals for the winch.

Wait... All your wires run to one 100 amp fuse? So your 12 gauge wire is gonna melt down long before the fuse pops... Each light set needs it's own fuse... There sharing one 100 amp yes but unless all the lights ground out at the same time your not gonna pop it...

This is the setup I just built... 4ga wire to To a distribution block from painless wiring... then some summit brand fuse block... Each fuse is rated for what I plugged into them...

What size copper you ran from the fuse box to battery?

Is each wire from the fuse box properly sized for the fuse you put it on?

And third, what is your alternator rated at. Chap cps are you need to upgrade that next

What about my other questions. Just wanna make sure you don't melt and cause fire. What size you run to lights and what size is your alternator

Each set of light force are running there own kit so it goes light to relay to 30 watt fuse to the fuse block with a 30 watt fuse. I did the same thing for the hella.

As for my alt is is stock. No keep in mind I have a pd version xj so not sure if there is a difference in the alt.

Get a build sheet from Chrysler. Chances are you should upgrade the main wiring and you alternator specially if you wanna get a winch too.
