Have an Aussie Locker in a 3.55 geared Dana 35. Want to remove the Locker from the 3.55 rearend and want to put the locker in a 4.11 geared Dana 35. Is it a direct swap.?

 

yes, it should just drop right in

 

Depends on year. The older and newer carriers are slightly different sizes no matter the carrier break. Even use different spider gears.

 

So would it be as simple as removing both carriers and just swapping the ring gear from one to the other or am i gonna have to remove the locker from the carrier on my 3.55 rear and reinstall it in the carrier of the 4.11 once i remove the spider gears.
