ATK HP88 Jeep 4.7L Baja Stroker Base Engine questions
I was perusing all sorts of engine parts and builds, I found it interesting was that this crate motor specifically states "NOT FOR 2000-2001 Cherokee"

Am I missing something?

Thanks outlaw.
I am planning on building a stroker, eventually.
My current plan is to buy a stock 4.0 crate to keep my rig running and pull my motor and build that into a stroker. My brother works for Carquest so I can source parts through him for cheap.

So the motor I currently have is at the end of its life expectancy. The stock crate motor wil keep her going as I received some advice from a coworker of mine who has 30+ years of auto restoration under his belt, and that is keep it running as long as you restore because having a giant paper weight is no fun. Especially with being in the military where Having the chance that any moment you gotta move.
I also have a line on a couple of motors where people were gonna build stokers and now are not going to because of lack of motivation.
Either way I want to have two blocks, working on my xj is something that I love to do and my philosophy is you can never have to many tools or car parts.
