Pyroclastic colored Monstaliner spayed on a sunny day. The interior is done in it as well. It seems good now that I have it all in one color

I'm not questioning OP's complaint or anything but I just feel like I should say this for the record and the sake of fairness.
I have an APN header. Apparently they did not check mine for fitment because I had to take a Dremel to my intake manifold to get everything to fit. Probably took off 2mm of metal. The header was shiny though.
I also, at some point while wheeling, bottomed out and smacked my downpipe between the manifold and the catalytic converter on a rock or whatever so hard that it snapped off the hangar hook and tore a hole in the downpipe. In fact I whacked that thing so hard apparently that it loosened several of the exhaust manifold bolts to nearly hand tight, mostly on the bottom side. Or maybe they loosened later due to vibrations. Dunno.
And you know what? Pretty sure that APN header isn't even cracked though. I was kind of amazed.

that was a good call. im sure it was much quicker to ship a product back and buy another than it would've been to clean up what you had. you get what you pay for. you should know this by now.

Yea- Get a spun cat. As others have mentioned, mudfrog on here (vendor) has several different ones for pretty cheap. His is the performance-curve website.. just done forget to mention your CF membership and get a discount!

X2 I have a thunderbolt spun cat from mudfrog part #410250 on both my XJ and YJ
I agree you should have gotten one in better shape. That being said, mine cracked at the collector after 3 years and about 12,000 miles. I even put in a new oem driver side motor mount at the same time. Even with the lifetime warranty I decided NOT to go apn replacement. Instead I bought the style with the bellows at the end on ebay and been holding up for a year so far.

I actually sent back the APN header, and ordered a Gibson header. So I wouldn't have any downtime, I installed a stock steering kit, U Joints, ball joints, Bearings, tie rods, rotors, brakes, steering gear box, 62mm Throttle body, Hot air filter, new ignition, and serviced the engine oil, trans and differentials. I received the Gibson header today, and this weekend I will install it. I went with Gibson header, Magnaflow CAT, and Borla cat back. I am moving to Kansas in a few weeks, so new OE steering will work out great. (Kansas is really flat). The 3" lift and 32" tires works out great with this exhaust set up. Now to get the correct senders for my pro comp gauges and get the back rear defroster working.

gonna throw my.02$ about the APN header
ive had mine for almost 2 years and thought it was fine till i seafoamed it one day and i saw at least 4 pretty bad leaks coming from it, i also had to grind down the intake quite a bit to get it to fit properly. i personaly wouldn't buy this header again and wil suggest no one else buy it either.
