Default Anything special that I will need to go with this lift?

Hey guys,

Gonna be going with a 3" suspension lift here pretty soon. Just wondering if there's anything else I need to go with it? It includes:

AAL for rear (temporary)
Shocks all around
LCA's
Front coils
Swaybar brackets

Will I need longer brake lines for the rear? I'll be running it without the swaybar.

Anything else you think I will need?

I did a search but not much really came up about this. Pretty mixed up info so I wanted to see if I could figure this out.

Thanks

Check out the Sep issue of offroad magazine. They just did a 3" RC lift and the only other thing I think they added was an adjustable track bar and steering stabilizer.

Adjustable track bar, new front brake lines. I needed both of those at 1.5", I'm sure you'll need them at 3". I have stock YJ brake lines on mine up front, they should be good for when I go up to 3" up front.
My stock rear brake line is still good, and my rear is around 3" now.

Just spend the extra and get full leaf packs. The AAL will sag so flat Charlie Sheen won't even blow lines off it. Seriously just do it right the first time or you're going to be doing it again.

Adjustable Tracbar, Trackbar, Extended brakelines, Go for full leafs, Adjustable upper arms would be nice to dial in caster.

I have a well build 3.5" RE/Teraflex hybrid short arm that surprised the hell out of a couple guys running Teraflex and Clayton Long arms today.

Just drill the track bolt hole 1/2-3/4" right from where it is. Or buy a relocation bracket if you don't want to spring for a new track bar.

You may want to remove or straighten the brake lines for added clearance.

Thanks for the tips guys.

The AAL is a temporary thing - it'll only be on there for a few months to hold me over until I can get my hands on a new leaf kit.

About the trackbar -- is that something I can see if I need after I do my lift or will my vehicle not be driveable? At this point I would have to go with a relocation bracket for a temp fix because my budget is running a little thin.

In my experience 2-2.5" lift and you are pretty good at stock location. 3" kind of puts you over that threshold. Simplest way is to just drill a hole on the lower track bar bracket 1/2-3/4" right of the existing hole.

I am still running this way after a year. No problems at all. Yes I would rather have an adjustable track bar. And its on the list.

Cool. Maybe I can use the hole as a temp. fix while I save up for a decent adj. tracbar.

As far as TCase drops go, would a 1" drop be suitable?

I dont do transfer drops. I am at 4+ inches in the rear. Same ujoint after a year. Slight vibes yes. But I would rather have the GC.
