Hey guys, just wanna know if anyone has any cool audio stuff done to their cherokees. My system is a pioneer deh headunit, boss 6.5 coax rears, fosgate 5.25 mids with powerbass crossovers and kenwood tweeters up front, 3 powerbass s10's in a Ported box running off of a kenwood kac500. I was wondering if anyone has done stuff like fiberglass door panels, moved the head unit to the air vent spot, custom sub boxes, amp locations, anything really. Throw up some sick pics guys.

Nothing too custom but 6.5" mtx's in the back, 5.25 alpine components in the front, and 2 15" kicker cvr's in the back. Afraid I don't have pictures though. I can go take some tomorrow if you really care.

My custom box I built into the rear cubby housing a Kicker 6.5" sub.
How well does that hit in there? I want to try this but was "iffy" on it cause of vib sounds.Originally Posted by macgyver35

Not bad guys, i wanted to do a cubby hole boxe for a 10 or 12 but Im into super high spl levels and one sub couldn't do it for me but if you want an overall good system and still want cargo area, that's the wayto go. I want to buy 2 audioque sdc2.5 15's in a t-line box with fiberglass door panels just so I can fit some 6.5 components in all 4 doors, not too crazy but next year I'm buying a 95-00 for ranger and building a blowthrough box with either 3 15's or 2 18's. Keep the posts and pics comin guys!

Would 6.5 components in the front and 6.5 speakers in the sound bar be enough or should I put some good 6.5 in the hatch too?Originally Posted by arorton

It depends what you want to get out of it.. 6.5's will never get you satisfactory bass, at least as far as I'm concerned. Maybe some 6.5 midbass drivers would, but again it depends what you want to get out of itOriginally Posted by Power73

Head unit is an el cheapo from walmart, Dual, 2 12in dual subs, custom built ported box, on the sound bar I have 2 sosche 6.5in 3 ways, 300 watt dual amp and a 400 watt dual amp. Putting 2 more of the 6.5in sosche in the doors, its as loud as I need it and it hits harder than all the little ricers in town!

I got two audio Pipe 15s with a 2400 watt sony amp bridged, tsunami 4 guage high performance wiring, 5farad tsunami compactor and a yellow top optima battery..it bumps so hard that I can set car alarms off at will and if I'm driving w/out doors I can shake other ppls cars

Vibration is really very low in my instance. The 6.5" sub with restricted air volume in the enclosure doesn't go as low as your typical 10" or 12" in an Igloo cooler sized box. The way I have it attached also helps minimize vibrations. The bass, while not exceedingly low, is very tight and sounds great with almost anything except rap/hip hop that prides itself on 30Hz bass lines. But that's not my style of music anyway.Originally Posted by cmartin2112
