Default any good leads on rock sliders?

anybody have any experience with these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-...#ht_1744wt_939

I've seen them for $125 online, already offered the guy $90 best offer but got turned down, still seems way cheaper than most which are $400+

I'm looking for something that can be used as a jack point but under 200 bills.

I could probably easily fab my own, but don't really want to be bothered. I'm sure they'll still be some drilling, etc. with any of them, but the easier they are to put on the better. post some pics of yours if you got em.

thanks!

Seems like they're pretty popular, and reasonable on price, I'm just being cheap...

anyone know if the stage 2s stick out far enough to be used with a hi-lift?

any other affordable sliders out there?

Brook (the guy who builds these) is local to me. I have them on my rig. No complaints at all and over half off the JCR sliders. I've landed on them numerous times, used them to high-lift my XJ, pivoted around rocks with them......touch up paint and they look good as new. FYI - the ones pictured don't do justice to the finished product you will receive. They look good, are welded good and are a solid product. I wished they were 2"x"3 box tube....but the round has held up well.

Yes, you can use a Hi Lift on all three stages of our sliders. The Stage 2 and 3 stick out about 7 3/4" from the pinch seam. Don't forget, ours come with a Lifetime warranty.

Been looking to get a set for some time and with all the searching I've done JCR seems to be the best vendor choice. If I had a welder I'd build my own, but unfortunately I don't. Brimy, any chance of a CF discount like RC has?

That's exactly what I decided to do actually, I'm looking at metal today. I'm sure I can make them for a lot less. I don't want to mess with bolting them in either, gonna weld em. Don't get me wrong, they seem to have an excellent product and the price is where it should be, but I'm unemployed, so I have time on my side to make up for the lack of funding so fabrication wins this time.
