Default Another Noob Lift Question

I have searched for this but i cannot find the answer to my noob question, when doing a bastard pack using s-10 springs can it be from any year/generation? and if there is any difference in lift how much is it? and would thunderbird or f150 or bronco coils be the better/most level option to use for a budget lift?

Cheers and thanks in advance for help with my noob question.

The F150 coils are way to stiff. You'll get some lift but it will ride like a tank and have almost no uptravel. We tried it on a ZJ a few years back and took them off after one ride. As for the leaves it all depends on the age of the spring and how wore out they are and the packages like ZR2 or whatever will give a little more lift. It's not an exact science working with used parts.
