Just installed a 3.5" Rubicon Express leaf and coil spring kit. I ended up with almost 6" in the rear but I chalked that up as a win. I'm installing an STE and a double cardon drive shaft. I've checked the angles and done the math and it would seem that I need shims that are at least °10! From what I've read, that is an insane angle for pinion shims.
Does the fact that my output shaft drops 3° come into play when trying to figure out my pinion angle or should I just measure from center of output shaft to center of pinion shaft?
Any input is greatly appreciated
