Nice. Changed it to 4 ohms or you replaced wires?

I think you I just quoting something with out understanding what it actually means

it takes twice as much wattage to get only 3db increase...

to get twice as much sound output take 10x the wattage...

tit is really just simple math...

that link can be somewhat misleading to some one that doesn't understand what they are looking at...

when they are referring to 'sound energy' they are NOT talking about the wattage it take for a amplifier and speaker/subwoofer to produce that sound....

does that make any sense?

I hope that helped

No amount of backpedaling of googling will save you. You acted like 6dB was nothing. 3dB takes twice the energy of the system to create.

The problem was too low impedance like I said a couple days before you came in spewing garbage.

Better luck next time.

in all honestly most people can not tell the difference when 3db is added, and at higher volumes 6db is barely a drop in the bucket

the problem is that the link you showed us has nothing to do with the power it takes the amplifier to produce those sounds... and as such it is not really relevant to what you where trying to say in the first place...

basically you are just googling things and hoping that the info you find is correct... you need to know more than how to use google to understand the math behind this...

lol. wow... well how can I argue with a thought process like that... when you can't support your position on an internet forum with fact, simply attack the other person's mastery of the english language... Thank you for this important life lesson...
