Am I missing something here with the RE sway bar end links?

it may look close to correct in that photo, but unless you dropped the frame side mount also, you should not relocate the axle side down. Don't use that piece of the kit or you'll end up with bump steer.
Not to mention you're putting the frame side trackbar TRE joint at a more extreme angle then it needs to be - you'll only limit your suspension travel and cause the joint to wear out faster.

SteveMongr and Dukie564, Great, thanks for the explanation. Makes sense now. Guess I'm a visual kinda guy lol. I was focusing on the bars themselves rather than pivot point to mounting point. I see why dropping the axle end threw them out of alignment. I also see why adding a drop pitman arm would only exaggerate the issue.
