Default Alternator relocation?

Anyone know of any kits that would protect or move the alternator up, i have a 98 4.0 and yes i want to keep my ac compressor.

Probably no kits, but I can imagine that with proper placement, custom brackets and re-routing the belt it could be done.
maybe changing to v-belts would do the trick.

I plan on doing this one in the future. This deletes the a/c but maybe you could get some ideas from it

I just realized you want to keep your AC.

Ive already killed one alternator and don't want that bill again. I plan on doing it soon. I don't mind no a/c

here's you go dude, this should give you what you need. I did it recently and it even allows for an a/c delete. I know you want to keep yours. if you have the old ac style with just 2 long bolts running horizontal to hold it on then you have to convert to a different one for this. it's really not much trouble. and though the alternator is still under the ac, it's much higher, and nowhere near as close to the ground. this also allows for the zj alternator upgrade. there's no losing with this setup. one trip to the jy with a shopping list and you're done. read up. I'm not going to hand out all the info lol.
