I love the stance but I have to ask. Is there a performance benefit to 35's under a 3" lift? I could understand a wider track in soft sand but aren't you losing flex due to the bigger bumpstops that will be necessary?

You gain ground clearance, your chunks aren't going to drag a much, and you don't raise your cog as much as when you lift it 6 inches with 35s.

And you will loose up travel, but the advantage of the bigger tires out weighs the loss of up travel.

LCOG - Low Center Of Gravity. Great for rocks and off camber.

Also cheaper cause I don't need to spend money on a 6.5" lift.

and west coast guys swear LCOG is stupid because they're rocks are too big.

They're also made of sandpaper.

you'll loose a little bit of uptravel but if you bumpstop correctly, it'll act as a pivot point and help force the axle down. so, no, it doesn't rly hurt flex. common misconception though. check this out --- https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f67/lo...24-12-a-32980/

Makes sense. I guess until we hit the Lottery, our mods will always have some sort of trade off.
