Some folks just want huge lifts... I don't get it. They'll learn.

He can lift it as high as he wants, but he's just gonna gain more uptravel before he rubs.

Will adding a 2 inch shackle flatten out my leaf pack and cause them to wear out faster?

Uh prolly 65*... It's a bastardized leaf pack with a stock shackle around 3 inches of lift

After reading, reading, reading.. and research, research, research.. I think I'm settled on buying the Zone 3" lift with the full leaf packs... My XJ has over 200K miles on it and my leaf springs are tired.. I really didn't set out to have that much lift.. would have been fine with 2" but.. my rear springs are shot.. and I have feeling after doing new front/rear bumpers the taller lift will settle a little.. All that being said .. I'm not a big offroad junky and I use my XJ for daily driving mostly .

My questions are:

  1. I'm gonna need new lower control arms as my bushings are worn out.. Will the stock OEM replacements be fine or should I look at aftermarket?
  2. Do I need the optional (longer) sway bar link kit?
  3. Do I need to get an adjustable track bar?
  4. Will a 3" lift look ok with 235' tires? I have plenty of life left on these tires so ... Does anybody have any pics of this setup???
Thanks for your help!

Do I need the optional (longer) sway bar link kit? - if you want to run one, yes
Do I need to get an adjustable track bar? - yes

Look at WJ Lower control arms. They'd be an improvement over stock and much cheaper than aftermarket CAs.

You have some bird poo or something smeared across the top corner of your headlights.

Do 3.5 OME leafs need new shackles for a good angle or do they have a good shackle angle with stock shackles?

Autopal housings, build your own relay wiring harness and run good H4 bulbs.

Huge difference in light output.
