Default Leaf Springs

Does anyone know if 2dr leaf springs are the same length or longer than 4dr leaf springs?

I met a friend of one of my co-workers yesterday (who supposedly knows everything Jeep), who told me that the leaf springs on my 2 door are longer than those on a 4 door and to keep that in mind when buying a lift kit from the internet.

So.................I asked the question to the seller, of the kit I want to get from ebay. He wrote me back stating that they are the same length.

Tell your friend that knows "Everything Jeep" that he is a moron.

The only thing longer on your Jeep than my Jeep is the front door.

Yeah, that picture was taken shortly before you and the ole lady had to ride with the crazy man and I had to ride all the way down Daniel in the back of that Chopped XJ in the background then drive the crazy man's truck w/ trailer to 3 different towns (80 mile round trip) to find a fuel pump.

Fun fun.
