I will be doing some light to moderate towing(just a 14' fishing boat or a couple of atv's) Not sure if the OME's will lift it enough, or if the RC Leaf's will take the towing? Any input?
Get the OME HDs if you're gonna be towing often

Not my DD. Don't want to cut.

Can I use the sye and new CVDS if I switch to a d44 In the future?

Do the OME hd's give 3"? I've heard they only give 1.5 to 2"?

I have a stock 93 4WD 4.0L XJ
Im looking at this $900 6.5" Rough Country Lift.
Seems like a great deal.
Or this $1250 6.5" Rough Country Lift X Series Long Arm
What is the difference between the Kits?
I want this look.
Ill be 4X4in, mostly trails, mud, no serious rock climbing.
Are there any cons to this lift and what im trying to do?

They should give 3" I have the medium duty springs and they got me 3" or more. Basically they got me enough to fit 31s with no chance of rubbing at full flex with proper bumpstops.

some friendly advice here so please don't be offended; if you don't know the difference between a short arm lift and a long arm lift you need to do lots of research before you go lifting your Jeep that high. Take some time over the next couple of weeks and read up on the differences between long arms and short arms.

Hello. The wheels on my 2001 xj are 16 inch wheels, with a current tire size of 225-70/16. I'm going to install a rubicon 3.5 super flex with new rear leafs.

My questions are do I need to replace the stock aluminum rims to a 15 inch wheel and go with a 31-10.50/15?

If I keep the 16 inch stock wheels, will running a 245-75/16 cause any rubbing?

And question 3 is, if I need a wheel with a different offset, what offset difference do I need?

Thanks guys and gals for any and all help on this matter.

Aaron, no need to swap out your wheels, unless you really hate the look of the stock ones. You should be fine on that tire/wheel setup with the 3.5" lift. My first lift was an RE 3" with 31's and I only had to trim back the front bumper end caps a little for clearance. Didn't rub anywhere else.

This is the lift and tire thread... it belongs to no one in particular.

Thanks brother Brad for the input. It's been consuming most of my time trying to pick a tire that will go with this frickin stock wheel.
