All Lift & Tire questions go here!!!
Was going to pull the lift out of my totaled '99, but the one leaf if bent(other may be also). The front part of the lift was UC V8 ZJ coils and a 3/4" spacer, for about 3". The rear was some new heavy duty crown stock replacements leaf's and a 2.5" RE AAL About 3 1/4". Don't know if I should Just get a new RC 3" whole kit, or try some OME heavy duty springs?
I will be doing some light to moderate towing(just a 14' fishing boat or a couple of atv's) Not sure if the OME's will lift it enough, or if the RC Leaf's will take the towing? Any input?

i have 4.5 with 33s and cut fenders and i flex just fine without rubbing
. as long as you trim and bumpstop properly you dont need to go that high. is this your dd?? if it is id advise against going that high. if not, go for it. im just saying, i know from experience that the higher you go on your dd, the more time and money you are going to have to spend on being able to keep it your dd/ww.

I have a stock 93 4WD 4.0L XJ
Im looking at this $900 6.5" Rough Country Lift.
Seems like a great deal.
Or this $1250 6.5" Rough Country Lift X Series Long Arm
What is the difference between the Kits?
I want this look.
Ill be 4X4in, mostly trails, mud, no serious rock climbing.
Are there any cons to this lift and what im trying to do?

So best price on SYE/custom driveshaft?
I keep seeing 4-800$
and will custom ds work with a D44? If I swap from d35?

Hello. The wheels on my 2001 xj are 16 inch wheels, with a current tire size of 225-70/16. I'm going to install a rubicon 3.5 super flex with new rear leafs.
My questions are do I need to replace the stock aluminum rims to a 15 inch wheel and go with a 31-10.50/15?
If I keep the 16 inch stock wheels, will running a 245-75/16 cause any rubbing?
And question 3 is, if I need a wheel with a different offset, what offset difference do I need?
Thanks guys and gals for any and all help on this matter.

Aaron, no need to swap out your wheels, unless you really hate the look of the stock ones. You should be fine on that tire/wheel setup with the 3.5" lift. My first lift was an RE 3" with 31's and I only had to trim back the front bumper end caps a little for clearance. Didn't rub anywhere else.
Thanks brother Brad for the input. It's been consuming most of my time trying to pick a tire that will go with this frickin stock wheel.
