I'm leaning toward Rubicon Express 3.5 Super Ride. Its got full leafs and everything you list except shocks. Looks like the only difference with the Super Flex is the disconnect sway bars. Do you think the Ride is a good starting point.

Anything else you think I would need to get after the kit? Heres what it has-

[*]1 Sway Bar Disconnect Adapters[*]1 Sway Bar End Links[*]1 Front Coil Spring Set[*]2 Leaf Spring[*]1 U-bolt Kit (Dana 35/44)[*]1 Brake Hose Rear[*]1 Pair SR2 Lower Front Control Arms
That is the kit I have need to like the other guy said get an adj. track bar and some shocks front extended brake lines are optional, I just straightened out my hard lines and re mounted them, I have plenty of brake line.

They are basically the same strength
I have a 44 front already but if it's not necessary for me to Change from the 8.25 to the 44 I probably won't cause that's more money for other mods

Most people go ford 9 inch rear for a half ton build.

The biggest lift I probably would get is 6.5 but how much modding would that be to fit a ford 9

Strip the brackets off the 9 inch and weld on new spring perched and shock mounts, and a new drive shaft probably there are plenty on build threads with 9 inch rears.

I was reading the iro website about the 6.5 critical path lift for my wj, it says something about a Siginaw drive shaft. How do I know what mine is? Iv got a 2004 overland wj

Front driveshaft conversion to a u-joint style is necessary if you have the Saginaw, ball-in-socket style at the transfer case.

Default Wheel backspacing question

I am installing a 4.5" rough country lift kit with full springs on my 2000 xj. I would like to order the Cragar 16x8" soft 8 wheels with 32" KM2's to go on it after it is done. I looked and it looks like those particular wheels have a 5" back spacing. Will this be too much? Will it look dumb? Will it rub? According to RC they say that 3.75" is ideal for backspacing. I don't know enough about this to know if 5" is going to cause any problems.

I'm thinking about getting these Cragar 397 Soft 8 Black rims 15x7 and 5x4.5 bolt pattern. These would be good for stock 235/75/15 tires right? How big of a tire could I put on them. I'd probably be getting new tires in a year or 2.

Anybody use these? Would they be too long for a RE 3.5 Super Ride lift? I might go bigger later so I'm trying to plan ahead.

I think v8 zj coils add 1 or two inches, there is a thread about junkyard lifts, but honestly you can get almos any size coils for under 100 dollars so why bother with junkyard parts.

Default College Jeep

So I have a 2001 xj with a 2" coil spacer lift and 235/75r15's (28"-29") for a college vehicle. Will this 2" lift give me enough clearance to run a set of 265/75r16's (32")? I wanna leave the lift the same because right now it gets around 21mpg with the small tires. I would switch the tires out-bigger in the summer and smaller in the winter.

I have a 2" lift with 30's. You'll need to trim your fenders to run 31's. If you don't trim it's gonna be really tight, so basically no flex or offroading
