Damn. Really? If i'm only driving it on the street for now like it'll rub backing out of the driveway? I'm going to give it a nice trim job before i go wheeling but I thought I would be okay just for the street. Bullocks.

Yea i'm excited to see how much pep I still have with stock gears and about every bolt on performance I could squeeze out of the 4.0. D44 and 4.56 is next

I'm pretty much sold on the RC 4.5" long arm kit. But I had horrible shackle angle on my 3.5" leaf packs on my 91. So I'm making it 5.5" with jks shackles. For the front though. I want it to sit even. But I'm having trouble finding an actual 1" spacer. All I seem to find is 3/4 and 1 3/4? Does anyone make a true 1" spacer? Or am I going to have to get adjustable spacer? Or cut down a 1 3/4 spacer? Any thoughts or links would help...
The rear will prob settle a little after time. Maybe wait on spacers???

Probably the more sensible thing to do. I just don't want to have to drop the front axle to put in a spacer. Maybe adjustables would be smarter. You can adjust those without removing them right? Haven't read too much into them.

Really pep with 35s? I have a 90with 250,000 with 30" tires on it and itll spin the tires pretty easily with them, but they dont have much tread on them. Anyways I was going to go with 33s cause I just lifted it 5.5inches. Do you think I would have enough pep for 35" tires instead of 33"s? Until I can regear or rebuild the motor? I want 35s so bad! They look soo much better!!

Mine moves damn good still. Up top like 65-80 sucks. But ive still been able to **** off a few ricers by being faster off the line. I dont have alot of motor stuff either. Tb spacer, flowmaster 40 series 2.5'' back, big spark wires, extra motor grounds and thicker wire, super thick power wires from battery, poweraid intake kit.

What are the best, and cheapest extended sway bar links to use on about 5" of lift? I've heard something about ford truck ones I think?

alright, so here's what I'm thinkin.... the 235/75r15's are basically 29" tires... the bushwacker cutout (aka pocket style) fender flares cut at least 2" of sheet metal, right? So I'm thinkin' about buying a set of the flares and running 31's...

Has anyone tried this and know that it will not work? - I'm not tyring to re-invent the wheel here, but I'm planning on getting these flares eventually anyway... I want to run as large a tire size with minimal lift as I can (I like lower center of gravity)

I think that would work. Might see a little rub somewhere under flex. And you might rub control arms a bit at full lock. Speaking from speculation. Not experience.

The flares will stick out farther than the tires and look goofy

Thats bout whats done to mine except tb spacer and air intake. I dont take mine over 55 now. An as long as I have enough power to spin em in snow im fine wit the power. Its a 4x4 not a fart can on wheels. I have my zx6r for the streets.

how is that the case? whether I lift the jeep or not, the backspacing of the rims are not going to change.... my tires stick out from underneat the stock flares with the 235/75r15's because I'm on aftermarket rims - if I make them 31x10.5's they'll stick out even more -

again... asking if someone has tried the flares w/ 31's on stock suspension - not caring about form - just function

Appearance is whatever you want it to be. You won't rub anything if you use bumpstops and steering stops.
