What's up guys....
Curious what you guys may be using as a replacement jack versus that of the stock. I'm not sitting all that high, about 16 to 17" from ground to frame and noticed my stock jack doesn't provide enough height in the event I ever need a tire change?
Thanks,
Raz

On 35s I've never been in a situation on it offroad I needed to go higher. These spare tire jacks are meant to be used under the axle tube not on the frame rail.

Appreciate it guys! I went back to trying my stock jack again. Provides plenty of lift height from the axle
By the way, I'm sitting on a set of Mickey Thompson Deegan 38's.. Which are 29" in Diameter..

I would like to find replacement springs that provide a modest 2" (two inch) lift to my 2001 XJ. I know, that's not much.
I have experienced a 2" lift (along with a 2" tire increase) on my Samurai, using Old Man Emu parts, and that was really an excellent upgrade .
A 2" lift should (??) not require any drive train mods and would facilitate slightly bigger tires. All together a nice look.
Sorry, not a very macho upgrade, but does anyone have relevant experience or suggestions?

OME springs have very good reviews, as do the Rubicon Express springs. Either way, you can't go wrong. On a 2" lift you shouldn't have to do any kind of drivetrain mods.

I just installed a set of Rubicon Express leaf springs that I thought has 2" of lift. In fact they have 3.5" of lift. At the same time I installed some Heka shackles that have a description that says it increases the ride height by approximately 1". I have not yet installed the front coils that have a 2" lift that I was going to use some spacers with.
My assumption was at 3" of lift I wasn't going to need extended shocks so I purchased a set of regular height shocks. I have no need for 4.5 inches of lift and am trying to stay away from as many additional modifications as I can. Would it be worth it to go back to standard height shackles to lose an inch? Any advise? Please hold my hand and lead me through this please.

Least expensive way I see right off would be to do oem height shackles in the back and 1" spacers in the front with the 2" coils. If need be you could add isolators in the front to get the stance you want. As far as the shocks go they'll be close to they're max extended length. You could put BPE's (bar pin eliminators) front and back.

Seems to be getting harder and harder to get good advice on the forum anymore. So I’ll give you my two cents. In my opinion going 4.5” is the tallest you can go before any serious modifications. But depending on what your goal is here that could change. If it were me in your shoes I would put a 3” in the front and a 1” block in the rear, slap the shocks that you have in and call it a day.
