Good thread to post on buddy. The picture I posted above is a great reference for your plans. As far as WHO makes lift kits, there's quite a few -->

Best bang for your buck is the Rubicon Express 3.5" super flex short arm kit. Comes with full leaf packs, coils, shocks, lower control arms, extended rear brake line, swaybar disconnects, and u-bolts.

Serious offroad products is a vendor here, and active member, and I think might even offer a discount code... can't remember but you can PM him. SeriousOffroad is his handle.

Thanks. This was one of my biggest concerns. If I go through a big box tire store I can get a decent warranty that would cover sidewalls. That being said it's still a quick way to ruin your day.

I had a 3" lift with 33x12.5R15s and it ran fine with stock gears. It lost a lot of it's pep but I wheeled and DD'd it with no problems. I now have a 6" lift running the sam size tire but with 4.10s and lockers. It makes a world of difference! It really comes down to how fat your wallet is and if it will be ridden more on the trail or the blacktop.

Verify that. I've never seen a shop that warranties offroad use, and cutting a sidewall is hard to explain any other way

Sears. That's why I bought my red labels through them. I specifically asked the man. "If I leave here and take it offroading slash all 4 tires doing so, will the warranty cover that." He said that their warranty covers anything as long as the tire is still identifiable

As much as I dislike the company Discount Tire will warranty any type of damage if you pay the extra $$ for their "road hazard" warranty. I asked one of the guys working there last time I got tires from them and he said I could slash my own tires and they will replace them.

Hey yall, soon to be a new cherokee xj owner here. I probably won't be doing much wheelin and this will be mostly a daily driver. I want to increase the handling as much as possible while keeping it stock height. I've located shocks (Bilstein HD) and Front/Rear sway bars (ADDCO). Are there any aftermarket coil/leaf springs I could install to increase handling without changing ride height? What else would you add to increase cornering/handling?

If you look in the build thread section there are a couple guys who built race jeeps, might get some ideas. My phone is not cooperating with links right now.

Default Cherokee 4" lift

I recently ordered a 4" lift I however didnt get an adjustable trac bar yet im going to order one but dont have the funds for one right this second. My question is I see a lot of people redrill the trac bar mount an inch over or something along those lines will this suffice for a few weeks until i can get my trac bar? Thanks in advance.

You can look up Team Petty Cash's Jeep XJ. I think JeepSpeed also has a road race XJ as well, but they both have lowered ride height. My advice would be a thicker swaybar on the front and (if you can find one) rear, and get the unitbody frame stiffeners. The XJ, being a solid axle vehicle both front and rear, wasn't meant to corner like a sportscar... so there's not a whole lot that you can do to the stock suspension to increase "handling"... but stiffer swaybars and frame stiffeners will certainly help.

Somebody correct me if I am wrong because I am not 100% sure. I don't think you can modify the stock track bar at 4 inches, and have it be safe. Plus you will have to pay to align your Jeep twice.
