Actually those look pretty cool after seeing how they were installed. Now I gotta convince myself to part with $135!
Yea man...they look like they reinforce the shackles...as well like people say make a better angle for them...but I've only heard good things about em...

I definitely like the idea of being able to move the shackle forwards or backwards. Wish I would have thought of it!

Sent you a PM.

Okay so I am looking on Fat Bob's Garage checking out the budget lifts and it dawned on me after looking at the install instructions. The kits do not come with new sway bar links.

Is it necessary to extend them on a 2 or 3 inch lift? According to the install instructions on the site it does not mention anything about them other than disconnect to install new spacers or springs then re-connect when done.

I am confused now. It would seem if you did not extend the sway bar links you would not get 2 or 3 inches of lift after putting everything back together. Seems like the spring would just compress back to the original height.

Someone help please!

You will have to lower the sway bar. My rough country 3"kit came with brackets to lower the sway bar. I would also recommend buying new stock sway bar links. Mine wrenched off when I tried to take off the top nut.

Yes you have to extend the sway bar....like said most kits come with sway bar extension brackets and what not that you need...or you could buy some quick disconnect that are already adjusted to the lift that you have...

But with that being said you don't necessarily have to extend them with 2-3"...you will feel a lil stiffer ride....but its not a must...how do I know...I didn't do mine with my 3"s...but mine didn't stay on long either..I just took em off completely and haven't looked back...never had any problems, doesn't drive like a boat...still corners fine, and wouldn't put it back on...IMO

Am I thinking right though? Will I still get 2" of lift on the front with the 2" spacers without extending the sway links or will I lose some lift when I re-connect the sway links?

How many inches were the lowering brackets?

For every inch you go up, do you extend the sway links that much?

You will be good...not enough tension from the swaybar to restrict under 3"...
