Have you ever tried to turn your steering wheel or drive over a speed bump? There's no way that clears the LCAs when turning. My 33s rubbed at full lock with the steering stops backed all the way out.
very happy with it. I still need to cut and fold the inner pinch seem in the front wheel well but it doesnt hit going down the road.

also "spacers" are very dangerous to use - you're putting the wheel studs under bending forces which they were never designed for. Not to mention that by spacing the wheel out it no longer centers on the axle lip - all the force is now transferred though the wheel studs themselves.
Even with small tires on a "tuner" car they are dangerous - bump up the tire size and weight to that of a 35" mud tire and you're seriously in danger of failure.

Ok, I have a simple lift question. 2000 xj all stock. If I put 2" spacers in my front, will I need to do anything else to the front end? ie, new shocks, new alignment, longer brake hoses, etc.This will be a cosmetic lift just to clear some bigger tires. No major off roading, mostly street driven DD stuff.

Since the shocks are new and you probably don't want to buy new ones, get some BPEs for them. they'll add an inch in down travel and help them last a lil longer. I had stock sized shocks on a budget boost and the ride sucked. Also getting the right size shock for your lift is key.
