OK men here is my dilemma...I am new the to XJ world and am looking at three different companies for a 3" lift. I use my Jeep as a DD and will be hitting some modest trails.

My budget is the key to this and I am definitely replacing me leaf springs. Here are my choices in no particular order.

Rough Country

Sky Jacker

Rusty's

All of these are all bout the same price except Rusty's is cheaper but once you add shipping it jumps right up there with the other kits.

What are your guys opinions?

You get what you pay for with a lift.

Out of those 3 id run the rusty's springs. However, do not run his track bar.

Ok so I've think I've made my decision on the lift I want. I'm looking at the RE 3.5 super ride lift. The only thing I'm confused about is there is multiple 3.5 inch super ride lifts and I'm not sure which one to order? Also from what I've read Im assuming I should get the lift with rear leaf springs and not the add a leaf? Please help I'm new to this xj world.

They work really well out here in the desert rock and slate. I haven't had an issue with them yet. What was your dislikes?

First off, I got them used, so this was my experience.

In rain, slicks.
In mud, only the side lugs would do anything. The center just packs up.
On rocks, I was 2wd, but they never would heat up and grip like my KM2's or Trxxus'.

Once they lose the water siping in their top half they just slide all over the road. They're cheap an didn't ride well on the road IMO either. I think they could use another groove in the center sections.

Yes, full leaf springs. RE is a good choice.
RE6025 doesn't come with shocks.
RE6025M comes with monotube shocks.
RE6025T comes with twintube shocks.

Whatever you choose, don't use the plastic accordion-looking shock boots. They trap dirt and grime, and that damages the shocks over time.
