air intake needs to be waterproofed!

Whenever I go wheelin through some
Water my car just dies because water is sucked into the engine and I'm stranded for lik 20 min. I have a 4.5" lift with 32"s i have a k&n air intake. Please how can I water proof it?!? Thank you!

A snorkel. You would also need to waterproof your electronics. That's probably what's making it die. If you get water in your intake you would probably hydroloc.
are you sure water is getting into your engine and your problem isnt caused by getting the CPS wet like 90% of other engine faults of driving through water are?
if you were truly sucking water into your intake, you would have bigger problems than just waiting 20 mins

Ohh boy...id invest in one imo...but for the time being I will go pull it out and read threw it and give you an idea ..or sum one else beats me to it

Silicone RTV is your friend when waterproofing electronics. The question about waterproofing the CPs is a good one. The CPS is located about the 10-11 O'clock position in your bellhousing.
