I recommend these if you want the pocket style. They're tough.

What would the difference be between the ones I posted and bushwackers? You mentioned pocket style I wasn't sure if there was a difference. I don't like the flat style flares. I want bushwackers but happen to find these at almost half the price. I'm just looking for a set so I can pass state inspection. I don't off road my jeep too much it's my daily driver so I don't anything too crazy that there gonna get all smashed up just need something to get me legal. A good Bang for the buck?

I read up a little on those flares you're looking at.. and i wouldnt recommend them from what i read. All i've seen is them flapping in the wind, and cracking because they're so brittle.. But to each their own. If you want some more info on them i googled "rugged ridge vs bushwacker"

I wouldnt suggest buswackers because of the amount of trimming required. After looking at the installation pdf for the rugged ridge ones (you posted these) it looks like the trimming is exactly the same as the buswackers. I actually had to cut into my pinch seam on the rear to make it work which imo could have been better designed. I second the Napier flares. More durable and less trimming has to be done so risk of cutting into pinch seam is much lower.

They've also got a 5 year warranty.
The google search you mentioned brought up JK and TJ flares but nothing about XJ's....unless I missed it. Please provide a link.
I'll add them to my site if there's any interest.

Really? They've only been out for a few weeks from Rugged Ridge. They aren't even listed in the most recent catalog.
They've also got a 5 year warranty.
