After cut antenna wire radio deck has no power
The other day I rear ended someone, causing minor damage to my front passanger side. I wound up pulling off the fender and Hamer in out the dents myself, but in order to do so I had to cut my antenna wire because through countless attempt I could not get the antenna mount off the fender. After that was all said and done, I realised my deck had no power at all now, I was wondering of the antenna situation played a role in this. I have a cheapo 20 dollar head unit from Walmart

Add a ground from the radio chassis to any screw going to the body. that should solve your problem. sounds like some how the radio ground got disconnected or was not hooked up when the radio was installed, and the radio is using the antenna ground to work
