Adjustable uca, bolt to short
I just did adjustable lower and upper control arms. Lowers took 30 minutes, pretty easy. The top ones went off easy but I had a hell of a time pulling the axle towards the back of the vehicle. I used a ratchet strap and connected it to the rear axle, well either way finally got it. Frame side bolts are fine but when i went to do the axle side bolts they seemed a little short for my liking. I torqued them down to 55 ft lbs. Think I should get longer bolts or will these be okay?

This is the stock size I'm seeing M10x1.5x80mm
Can anyone confirm?
Is there any importance to using the bolt jeep used with the tab to stop it from spinning?

NO, I replaced mine with normal bolts & washer bolts, and a serrated flange head nut. I went with M10 x 1.5 x 90m if I remember correctly .
I did get the correct size for the bushing (stock were a smaller diameter than the hole in the bushing) and I got them long enough to have at least 3-4 threads protruding.

Hopefully that will work for ya.
I have a local 'fastener' shop that is awesome....so I just take what I have down there and he comes out of the back with what I need/want. They even carry rivet nuts and a have a very nice selection of drill bits.
There is a fastenal lots closer, but they don't have what I need 90% of the time
Low prices too...............
