Default Adjustable control arms

I am about to install a 4 1/2 lift kit on my 2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ and I am wondering what I need to adjust my upper and lower control arms too. I am also putting control arm drop brackets on and I have looked up what the length should be and I can't find an exact number the instructions that came with the control arm drop brackets say for a 4 1/2 inch lift 15.75 for the lowers and 15 for the uppers but I feel like that is too short. Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you

If the control arm drop brackets lower the mounting holes by 4-4.5" then that should be the correct starting point for 4.5" of lift.
Actual length of the lowers should set the tire center of the fender opening.
The actual length of the uppers will depend on what is needed to set the correct caster angle.
None of this can really be predetermined, it just depends on what your jeep needs.

Regarding the chart above, I concur based on experience.
