All I've ever ran on my trucks is bf's, radial ta's on the v8-s10, traction ta's on the blazer, I may end up going with the all terrains on the heep, but they're heavy tires, 10lbs heaver per tire than the wranglers and hercules. I'm just thinkin about more spinning mass making brakes work harder.

nice.... when the time comes I'll either do those or maybe a set of the Ironmans that you've mentioned before if they are a better bang for the buck.
I will say I think General T/As for LT... are absolute garbage. I'd honestly rather have a set of the Wranglers that I have on my Jeep now.
Had those as a new set from a PO on my toyota 4x4 and tread pattern was very similar to the BFG ATs but the compound was horrible. I had to be careful not to break them loose on DRY pavement. I'm sure they made a hard compound thinking they would last 60k....but with the shear lack of grip, you'd be in a ditch in half an hour if you weren't careful. lol

THought i had some pictures of her with 235's but I ran 235/75/15 wal-mart wranglers for 2 years on mine with a 3" lift.
This is 30x9.50/15 so not much difference.
I went everyplace i wanted to go, i did keep in mind when mud was around, but I'm not a fan of mud, our mud is mostly sand and eats bearings, bushings etc to nothing.
Today its on 255/75/17 still 3"

Bit the bullet today and ordered the zone 3" lift with full leafs. got it for 420 through the shop I work at. I just hope everything goes smooth putting it on, and hopefully I won't need a crossmember drop or a longer trackbar.

Got the lift today, may install Sunday, but I have a question. The two coils are the same length, but the two leafs are about 1/2" difference in height when I set them side by side on the eyelets, is this going to be an issue, one side higher than the other? Or should they settle down the same? Should I go ahead and install the higher one on the passenger side to compensate for the torque of the engine?

Zone Offroad #J1302, J1303 Installation Instructions
1984-2001 Jeep XJ
3” Front Coil Spring/Rear Leaf Spring Lift
There is no mention of different sized leaf springs.
I have heard of a longer spring on one side before, I can only assume for a full size spare.
I would guess that one pack is just bound up a bit.
Check the part numbers. They should be the same.

Got it done, sits exactly like it did before, .75 lower on the pass side. I may swap the leafs side to side to fix that, but the u-joints were so bad I couldn't even drive it home. lol. I guess at 220k it's time to do them. haha

I hope it's the u-joints anyway, When I was backing out of the bay it would bind up a little then roll, every time it felt like it was binding it had the bad u-joint "squeal" I'm hoping the yoke isn't binding on the shaft. I didn't even think about checking that before I left. If Is I'll pick up some square tubing and make a t-case drop or take grinder and knock off a little material on the yoke/shaft just enough so I can get it back home.
