Default AAL's on oem leaf springs

hey i have flat leafs now and im rubbing on the flares when i have people in the back seat and hit bumbs. i dont have alot of money to spare right now so i cant get a lift with new leafs just yet.

what i was planning to do was to get new oem leafs since thats all i can afford now an in a few months and do the lift with the aal's. i know that the aal's sag but anyone have any ezperience with them on new leafs? i am looking to do a 3" lift in a few months when my job starts up.

thanks

id save up and make do until ya have the $ to do full new 3" packs.....
that will probably be cheaper in the long run than buying new stock leaves now and then buying a AAL to go in them later.

if ya just want to get it up a little now to stop the rubbing spend $29 at autozone for a set of 2" lift blocks....they come with new ubolts also and will get ya by for a cpl of months.

i have a 90 model cherokee with a rough country 4.5 inch lift with the AAL on my oem springs that came from the factory. I am really surprised that it hasn't sagged but its been on it for two years and hasn't lost any lift at all. maybe the laredo had heavy duty oem springs i don't know but my AAL on it has been fine for me. I didn't buy it or i would've gone to full leaf packs, just stating what it working for me right now.

If you are buying new OEM springs you will be fine for many years to come in my opinion. My neighbor just went this route and ended up with an extra 1" because of the new springs so accomadate for that.
I have been running an AAL on my 98 for 3 years and I have had no issues with sagging.
I am a firm believer that if you have decent enough leafs you will not experience the sag.
Also, you see and hear people complaining all the time how their 6 month old brand new lifted leaf packs are already sagging...just saying.
Just be sure and use a full length add a leaf. With Rubicon Express out of business for the time being, I am not sure who else has the full length add a leaf, but def. go that route.

Skip the blocks route, it will ride like **** and you would be better off spending that $30 on a case of mountain dew.
