Default 8.8 Swap Info

When swapping in the 8.8 into the XJ, do you all use the flange on the drive shaft to mate the drive shaft to the axle or do you swap the one off the 8.25 onto the 8.8?

Buy an adapter. They are around $25. The adapter bolts to the factory flange on the 8.8 then mates up to the stock Jeep drive shaft.

In my opinion. buy the adapter to run 1310 u-joint. then you can get replacements anywhere.

IIRC, the rangers have the right flange for the 1310 joint.
