Opinions will very for many reasons. I have had a set that didn't bother me at all, another set that sagged and road like a dump truck. Both had new shacks and where done correctly. Quality of said AAL and brand will make a difference but AAL's aren't the best choice. Most people who say they suck say so because they ended up having to do the job twice, and spend money twice on the same part, if I have to replace somthing because it is not affective I tell people it sucks to prevent them from wasting money too. Opinions are like butt-holes, EVERYONE has them...

I would spend the money on a full leaf pack (or bastard pack) so that I had a better ride and less likely to have to put money into my springs agian... but thats my opinion.

Bastard packing is going to a junk yard and getting a full leaf pack off of an old truck, jeep, or suv (a few different makes and models can be used) The amount of lift is never really guaranteed with this however. AAL is adding a leaf to your original leaf pack. you can buy AAL's with different specified lifts, but they usually give a little bigger lift and take some time to settle to the lift they are advertised.

aal's ride hard, life&height is dependent on the pack: hoe hard they have to work
