Default this may sound like a dumb question.

im putting a 99 wj 4.0 HO in my 90 xj, and was wondering if theres a way to splice my 90s tps connectors to the HO tps sensor. my 90s has the double wires, with the square connector and the flat 3 pin. and the HO has just a 3 pin. different style. thanks

Default 99 WJ HO in 90 Rennix XJ

ok so I blew my rennix, and got a donor from a 99wj. only problem is that the whole block is almost completely different than my rennix block. accessory mounts are all different. and with the different style I cant use my rennix intake because it doesn't have the power steering mounts. so I need to adapt the rennix wiring harness for the TPS to fit the WJ HO throttle body TPS. my jeep is the automatic AW4. im gonna be swapping flywheels, and sensors from my rennix block to the HO block, and keeping the power steering, ac, and water pump. any ideas?

Sounds doable I guess. Gonna make new mounts?

No. you must adapt your TPS to the wj throttle body.

I'm guessing he meant that u make an adapter plate that fit the TPS on the WJ intake manifold

U can make one out of 1/2 aluminum bar easily

What I would do. Make a template of holes on the WJ Intake and drill them, countersink the four holes and use flat head bolts and bolt them on the intake, and mark holes where renix TPS go and drill & tap them and bolt on the TPS.

I got it figured out. depending on weather it runs tomorrow or not, I will post a build thread. had to do a lot of redneck engineering, and even more creativity, but I managed to get all my electronics to fit the 99 engine. wish me luck
