I noticed today that I have a bolt on the side of my oil pan. We’re there any 4.0l that came factory with a turbo? Because as far as I know the build only has 30k on it and was never turboed. I also noticed that I have a code for (45 Turbo boost limit exceeded (engine was shut down by logic module)). Not exactly sure what it means...

 

The 4.0 never came turboed. they did have some turbo diesels available in Europe but I don't know how you would get that code. Have you put a scanner on it?

 

I'm guessing he's running an aftermarket computer with the stroker....or he's misread the code...some OBD codes are generic, and if you're looking at the wrong data....

More info is needed, what exact codes are being thrown on what setup?

FWIW I run a 4.6 on 26lb 4 hole injectors, stock computer and ignition system. Runs like a scalded dog, and never have had an issue. Even passes Cali smog, and it's been to the referee.
