Default 96 xj tranny install problems

So i swapped a 2wd tranny with a 4wd. This is the 2nd time installin the thing. First time i didnt get the T/C all the way on and broke the pump. I heard it grinding, not good. Pulled it back out and figured out what i messed up. Replaced the pump, reinstalled the tranny and hooked everything up like it should be. But now i get no power out of the engine. Didnt hear anything out of place just no movement. Anybody have an idea?

Default Startin to go crazy

Ok, pulled tranny again afraid i broke the pump again. Pump not broke, ok. Fluid level? Drained, half quart low. Reinstalled, new ATF. Let it run for a good solid 15 min, put in in reverse and nothing. When i put it in park you can feel it grind out of gear.
