Im about to install some new front coils I got dirt cheap online from a 96 Thunderbird. I have read lots of guys have gone this route with a budget lift. I also picked up the two mounts that are used in the normal install on the thunderbird itself. From one post I read a long time ago, you need to use the Mounts designed for the thunderbird to hold the coils in place. How to I fit these two mounts on my Jeep? Do I unscrew the upper bumpstop or drill into the frame to hold them in place.
These two mounts keep the top of the coil from moving around.
I wanted to get this done asap so I could get the front lift for my jeep complete. I finished the rear about a month ago and I'm tired of the ridicule from my family and friends on not finishing this lift.
Help.
