I bought a transmission cooler for my 95 XJ and I am trying to install it but I am not really sure which hose is which. I need to identify them in order to have them installed. I tried checking the temp of each hose by hand but i cannot tell a difference. Does anyone know how to identify the return line for a 95 xj?

On my 94 the return was the lower one on the radiator. Its backwards on the older xjs for some reason. On both my s-10s the return was the upper.

I couldn't find a diagram for a '95 but here is one for '97 to '01. Maybe it's similar.
