Default 95 instrument cluster into an 87 xj.....

So I just picked up a whole dash assembly from a 1995 with wiring harness, switches, instrument cluster with tach, and all other gauges, fuse block and all the other goodies for $20 at the moonshiners swap meet here in puyallup wa. Now my question is, what does it take to swap the cluster that I just bought into my 1987? I noticed that the 95 cluster doesn't have a place for a speedo cable so I'm assuming that it works off of a vehicle speed sensor or something along those lines. What is all involved in making this swap?

Thanks in advance

Rewire the entire jeep. Also you need to buy the electronic speed sensor

Because none of your harness has the wires for the speed sensor. Plus the fuel gauge runs on different values. You will need a new fuel sender. And I also belive none of the rear harness will plug into the newer dash harness.
