Hello everyone ...i been researching this for a while now...I purchased a 98 Cherokee 2years ago..story from previous owner was it was originally a 4x2 (automatic) it was being converted to 4x4 and is already lifted ..front axle installed bit stillhasthe2wd trans. I found a 93 that the body is rusted out but drivetrain is in perfect condition. I know the plugs are different and wiring is different. I found some old threads on other forums and I'm getting mixed info...that its hard...and thatit's a piece of cake.pleaselet me know if anyone actually personally done this Thanks! !

this all depends on the installer every thing bolts up the more ya no the easier it is

thanks ..I'm pretty sure I can handle its since I'm a master bmw tech buut I'm worried about the electronic differences ..someone told me the 98 has 2 extra sensors on the trans. any more info would be great...I got the 93 for super cheap the engine has about 70k miles
