I'm having an interesting issue with my 98 motor swap into my 90 renix.
I'm using the renix fuel system, with a 99 intake/exhaust, and the fuel pump does not want to prime, nor run the jeep. I'm getting a solid 40# on the rail, but the pump just seems to die for no reason, it ran fine yesterday for about a minute then just decided to not want to run. It starts, fires, and dies immediately after, but will keep running if you give it spray ether.
Things that have Changed- the upstream o2 got crushed in removing old motor-ran fine without it regardless.
Sensors off the 99 were 're wired to match renix sensors.
Asd relay is run to a kill switch on the dash. Bypassing it did not change anything.
Thoughts?

Sounds like fuel pump to me. Is it losing power to the pump when it dies. Or just fuel pressure. Symptoms sound like the pump. I am not familar with renix systems though.

Fuel delivery if starting fluid keeps it going.
Did you whack the fuel pump ballast resistor or it's connections on the driver's side inner fender during the swap?
