89 cherokee front axel

I want to put a dana 44 in the front but not sure which one to get does anybody have any ideas which vehicles to get one from that will fit without a ton of mods.

Moved to advanced tech.

The high pinion ones are best, but I think most will be full width unless you get one out of an early bronco.

True. But some are closer than others, at least in respect to width.
