what is needed to be completed besides the swap kit? can i just bolt up the new axel with this kit and call it a day? or is there something else that needs to be done?

U well need a 8.8 flange adapter for you drive shaft

manuals are rlly that great for wheeling u cnt shift in a hole so ur stuck in first but go ahead an shift n get water n mud in the clutch plate

I'm currently doing this swap into my zj, so I can give you a few tips.

They aren't as wide as a d35, a few inches skinner overall. You'll need a bracket kit for the axle, and flange adapter to mate it up to your driveshaft. The pumpkin on the 8.8 is quite large and may drag alittle compared to the 35. You can get them with 4.10 gears, the tag on the axle says the gear ratio and if it contains a lsd.
